Re: Team for Leeds

Wouldn't be a great surprise if both managers "settled" for a draw, just like last season. I can cope with the match ending in a draw but the manner in which we approach the fixture cannot be the same. If we are risk free and not on the front foot whenever possible, then a percentage of the fan bas...

Re: Aston Villa vs THE SUPER CLARETS Match Thread

Ekdal is much better on the ball coming out from the back than Tuanzebe. He is but if we play a back four with Ekdal then Walker is going to have to stay at home more often than not, we cannot leave the two centre halfs isolated. I'm sure the recruitment team are trying to find an athletic and domi...

Re: Team for Leeds

I stand by what I said this week in regard to the Leeds game being 'must win'. It just isn't, a draw doesn't leave us needing snookers or anything near it. Many will disagree but if we draw, are the contributors to this board chucking the towel in? We need to win games and it looks like the home for...

We continue to set up like this then we will be relegated. If we don’t sign a decent striker thats fit and a decent central defender ( like we should have done pre season) then we will be relegated. Re: Aston Villa vs THE SUPER CLARETS Match Thread

If we revert to the back four we are craving. The majority of our play goes down our left, Hartman will bomb on and work in tandem with Anthony. We are gifting the midfield to them before we've kicked a ball.

We are putting our back three under more pressure by not having the personnel to protect them. It does seem obvious.

That diving is embarrassing.
It's the fourth or fifth time, but don't worry we've stopped the goalkeepers (we mean Dubravka) holding on to the ball for more than a few seconds.

Diving or manufacturing fouls is the biggest cancer in our game but there is no appetite to get rid of it.
