Re: Newcastle v Burnley - Player Ratings
Pope 8 (mom)- kept us in it at start of both halves. The save on to post and follow up save was top class. Bardsley 5- lost against pace. Long 7- could have been better on corner but strong against a poor forward line. Mee 7- just a couple of rushed half clearances but again never let's us down. Tay...

Re: Crystal Palace v Burnley - Player Ratings
Pope 6- might have done better for goal. Not much else to do Bardsley 5- poor game by his standards. Allowed sako to much time on ball Mee 7- great desire to get back and stop mcarthur tapping in a second. Tarkowski 7- apart from a couple of stray passes kept benteke quiet. Taylor 6- shaky in first ...

Re: Manchester City v Burnley - Player Ratings
Pope 5- exposed but played his part in 4th error strewn goal Lowton 4- poor on at least 2 of goals. Mee 5- what was he thinking when allowing aguerro to run off him for equaliser. Long 5- no coincidence we look shaky when he's playing (huddersfield) apart. Taylor 6- kept Sterling quiet in first Half...

Re: Radio Lancashire - Jack Cork
The summariser was Steve Eyre, youth player in the nineties that didn't make it. Jack Cork has been off the pace recently but to question his attributes is complete stupidity.

The Dyche media circus with Clowns in starring roles
I am sick and annoyed around the constant unsettling of OUR manager Sean Dyche. Up until 3 weeks ago the talk of Sean and anything Burnley related was treated with disdain and lack of praise, suddenly a job comes up (and yes I will say it a bigger and ambitious club) and the pundits can't wait to tr...

Re: Our wingers
This is not a slight at Sean Dyche and his tactics, but I remember a similar thread in previous two seasons. George Boyd was regularly criticised for not being an out and out wide man. It doesn't really matter who we play on the wing regarding an attacking threat because it goes against shape we set...

I will not applaud before or if he scores a goal. However may get applause at the end of the game.paulus the woodgnome wrote:No. Just no. Let me remember how I felt when Fat Charlie scored at Southampton last season. Applause was the last thing I had on my mind.

The innuendo of not being dyche fit etc is a myth.
The guy would walk in to our team but unfortunately problems with the hamstring is historical. This is the reason we only play him for limited amount of time also this is the third hamstring issue he has had with us.

Re: Disgusting Blackburn fans
I meant underhand by hitting somebody from behind whilst being rightfully ejected. I am not going to name him on a forum. However if the police require info then I will pass name on to them.

Re: Burnley v Lincoln - Player Ratings
Heaton 5- kicking poor of late and got to take part of blame for goal being so far behind line. Darikwa 6- doesn't give the impression of being a comfortable defender. However had some bright spots and only person defending in last 5 mins. Flannagan 3- out fought, out skilled and out of his depth sc...

Re: Defending at home v away
For me the full backs, particularly Lowton give too much space and time for the oppositions wingers/full backs. Also another problem is that the opposition forwards bully both Keane and Mee. That could be down to the extra pressure of defending 20 yard deeper.
