Re: Summer transfer window
Get the feeling the same people who thought Gyokeres wasn't good enough for us think Sargent isn't either? Pretty sick of hearing we need a twenty goals a season striker! Re: Summer transfer window
No chance we are getting 40m for Trafford. Think they will take 30m plus a few add ons. We need to offset these new signings with some incoming cash. Possibly need to offload Amdouni as well. Don't know how the finances are at the moment but I don't think we are flush with cash. I think at least 50m...

Probably a similar team to the one that's unbeaten in 21 league games. Lose one and people are after changing formation. Players who haven't played for weeks getting wrote off on one performance.

Thanks all. I only log on for the transfer windows as this place is pretty awful these days (coming from early clretsmad days). I suggest some of you step away from the keyboard/phone and go for a walk and chill out.
Anyway, let's enjoy the rest of the season. UTC.

We still have a squad of 26 over 21 and three under 21 with apparently some more to leave and if there are 3 incomings that may push us up to 28 over 21 and 4 under 21-so we still need to trim the squad unless Byer, Ekdal, Redmond and Ramsay are out until January. Well to be honest with this particular player I would be quite relieved (if I’m wrong about him I’ll hold my hands up in a few months time). I realise that loans are not free, but selling players - fan favourites like Zaroury - and then loaning other teams players for large fees does not feel great...

Well those two things are connected, aren’t they? So we’re selling Zaroury, for example, for £7m but spending £2m of it loaning a player for a season. Are you happy with that? Yes, that's how loans work, they're not free. Do you think we haven't pulled enough money in the last 2 weeks to pay for th...

Yeah, realise that, but in the alternative scenario it’s a lot of money to commit for a single year when we are used to buying players for similar fees last time we were in the Championship (Pires c.£2m too). Your not happy with all the players leaving. Now your moaning about 2m for loan when were ...

2 (possible relegations) and 1 promotion in 3 years is always going to lead to a higher turn over of players. Hopefully staying up would mean we would just need some targeted signing in certain positions and a more settled squad.

Always dismissed the Pet Shop Boys as a bit of a throwaway 80's tacky electro pop band.
