Happy Thanksgiving. Best holiday in America and having it on a Thursday -with a Friday off makes a nice long weekend for many folk. Makes much more sense than miserable 'Bank Holiday Mondays' in the UK. And sports-wise, its the nearest America gets to Boxing Day football. I wouldn't swap them thoug...

Beyer is absolutely crucial. The only player even approaching some level of leadership. It's asking a lot of him to instill some fight into this team though. We are so weak in every area of the pitch. I can understand the lack of confidence but no fight or determination they show is shocking

The worst Burnley side I've seen in the PL. We look truly hopeless. Weak in every area of the pitch. The really worrying thing is we look so badly coached and utterly bereft of any tactical plan.

I doubt the homeless will be up in arms by being patronised in the way people are trying to help.
Fair play to those who are behind this.

A really poor performance. We look so panicked in possession. Very disappointed with our energy off the ball. A team with no belief or passion in what they do

Several passes around the back line then needlessly passing to them. They aren't even pressing with that much intensity. This is very strange to watch. Suicide football and zero forward intent

Berge caused that goal. What a stupid free kick to give away at that point. We would have come in at the break one up if he hadn't done that. Why on Earth did he push him over then

Al Dakhil has been very poor. We look all over the place without the ball. They have so much space when they move the ball forward. We are clearly a work in progess. We do look threatening in their final 3rd though. That late goal was a real kick in the balls

Just seen that Troyes are part of the City football group… Not sure about you guys but I don’t know how signing the Strikeforce of a team relegated from ligue 1 is meant to prime our team for survival. Odobert an argument can be made about his age being only 18 - Balde? Stinks a bit tbh Yes our man...

Buy back clauses are more secure than release clauses because you don't have to sell, but if you decide to providing the offer is matched you have to accept the offer from the original selling club who attached the buy back clause, it provides the guarantee that upon selling the original club have ...

The buy back clause applies whether we want to sell or not, otherwise it would be absolutely pointless. The way I see it, the buy back clause is like a release clause but for an individual club. In this case that's Villa. If the buy back clause is set at £40 mill then we have to allow the player to...

Got to be a superb investment. If I was a foreign investor, that's where my money would have gone. Nearly 900k population. Massive catchment area outside that. Mistake after mistake in terms of ownership. If you get that right there is a huge pay back

Pickford Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw Bellingham, Rice Saka, Foden, Rashford Kane That is a team of elite players. That is a good side. What has happened to our CHs though. We had an embarrassment of riches in that dept for decades. I can think of about 20 that would walk in to that team from the ...

I cannot stand the man. "Burnley have 2 very exciting wide men but there wasn't a lot of quality in the game today. I'm convinced that Burnley have enough to get them into the Premier League".

well..... the city's population is above 200k and the conurbation includes Fareham, Gosport, Havant, Waterlooville, and possibly Chichester.
