Re: Big Dave - sad news
very sad to hear of Big Dave’s passing. He was one of my favourite posters who carried BFC in his heart. As many, I always looked forward to his paper reviews. My sincere condolences to his family and sons. Let it be known to them that their dad was a legend on here, and by reading his posts it was ...

Thanks Ian, and certainly Tony, JD and a lot of fellow board members. As for the other KB warriors: good luck with your 2 seconds of fame with your smart comments 😊 The club is indeed more than its manager, much more than myself, and more than this board. Re: Scott Parker’s Claret n Blue Army
Sorry to say, but from what I’ve seen and heard during his dramatic tenure in Bruges the only thing I can say is good luck, we’ll be needing it. A lot of waffle, but tactically inept and no good match with the squad we have. Fulham and Bournemouth got promoted with teams that were far stronger than ...

Indeed. For those who thought England were bad yesterday (and they were), this was an even more dreadful performance. Holding out for a draw against Ukraine knowing this puts you in the worst half of the draw and against France beggars belief 🫣

Making a tremendous atmosphere in Munich at the moment.
From past experiences in Brussels surely one of the best sets of supporters, always chanting and never looking for trouble.
Shame their teams are always rubbish though
Good luck to them anyway

Honestly don’t understand the hype around Van Nistelrooy.
Hasn’t proved anything as a manager yet.

I am also missing the Burnley appreciation part, but it may still come.
Anyway, onward and upward.
We do need an out if the box appointment though, and do far I haven’t yet seen it.

It is imperative we get an inspiring appointment to continue the path we were on.
Let’s hope Mr Pace and his team get it right.
I can’t see anyone of the British contingent (besides Potter who is out of our league) who can successfully build on what we have put in place and the squad we have.

Eerily accurate that. I had questioned this year if terms like "the project" and over-playing youngsters is a copout to deflect if things don't go quite to plan. It's certainly looking that way. Bizarre how some manage to deflect and escape from situations unscathed and idolised.. still had people ...

He’s proven he still has a lot to learn as a manager.
His naivety and stubbornness was clear to see this season in the PL.
Should be happy to get the chance to redress this at BFC next season, but IMO certainly not ready for a top team like Bayern
