Did it really recover or was it just temporarily suspended. He had surgery so it wasn't a band aid plaster job. When something goes like that it's never quite the same again.

Yeah he had a knee injury in December 2022, had surgery and went back to Villa. Was then loaned to Boro in the January window when he must have passed their medical and resumed playing in February 2023. It was a general comment which people took literally. I've yet to be quoted where my comment specifically centred amdouni. I do think generally there's an issue with recurring injuries in the squad stemming from a lack of recruitment research without specifying any said individuals.
