There's no particular reason to think it's going to be not proven. Apart from the ridiculous length of time involved. A very generous interpretation of events, to the FA at least, might be that they feel there is insufficient evidence to find Osmajic guilty but are at least making him sweat on it.

He has decided to run his contract down to give him the best possible deal, as a chunk of what would be the transfer fee is reinvested in a signing-on fee and/or wages. I have no problem with this and I am surprised more players don't do it. Having made that decision, I don't think it's unreasonable...

Interesting to note that City did not trigger Liam Delap's buy back clause (reportedly at £20m), presumably knowing Ipswich would receive more under his release clause (reportedly at £30m). It may give us a read across on the Trafford situation.

We're going to need to take some risks to stay up. There's surely no doubting the quality of Joe Gomez so the gamble is on his fitness/availability. It was like watching us beat Liverpool in the PL but Spurs don't have the excuse of a gulf in resources. I've never seen so little endeavour from a winning team in a cup final. Sure, call Man U out for not being good enough but, in terms of it being a spectacle, at least they tried.

I've pubbed all my adult life (and some of my pubescent life) and I like it, nearly as much as I like table service. I can understand why those who used the full length of the bar to queue jump are a little miffed though.
