Don't trust either of them enough defensively to start a PL game. Both decent impact sub options when chasing. Looks like that's how SP sees Edwards. Not sure he has any faith in Benson given he's playing with the U21s.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Tue Aug 26, 2025 8:33 pmEdwards or Benson? Benson every time for me. He gets folk out of their seats.

Yes, they have 2 staircases. We only had one. Now we only have one, but the location of toilets and concessions have been thought out well. Now we don’t have queues to purchase beer right at the bottom of the only access to and from the stand. To purchase beer you have to go into the “fanzone/carpa...

Last season Haffners pies were served out of a hatch in the FanZone with optional peas and gravy. Really good set-up and offer, with minimal queues. The hatch was closed yesterday with the promise of pizza by the slice...coming soon. I bought a perfectly decent minced beef and onion pie from the con...

The biggest potential crowd crush incident at Turf Moor has been removed. The CFS concourse was crazy at times last season. As mentioned the crowd behind the JM yesterday looks busy, but we’ll see that numerous times at grounds this year. The staircase from Leaze’s terrace back towards the town, th...

There's no particular reason to think it's going to be not proven. Apart from the ridiculous length of time involved. A very generous interpretation of events, to the FA at least, might be that they feel there is insufficient evidence to find Osmajic guilty but are at least making him sweat on it.

So I don’t think it is wrong for Parker to strengthen. But as you rightly say a balance has to be had, and we have it, with Esteve, Edwards, Cullen and Anthony (plus possibly Hannibal) likely to be starters. Agree and think 4/5 starters represents reasonable continuity when you bear in mind that 3 ...

Also pleased that we have spent our money relatively early in the window. Maximises our chances of getting the team to gel before we're behind the 8 ball. May be an opportunity to do some loan business later in the window when we've cleared out some of the fringe players.

Or perhaps Man City simply didn't trigger it because they thought he's not good enough for them, compared to what they've already got. Interesting to note that City did not trigger Liam Delap's buy back clause (reportedly at £20m), presumably knowing Ipswich would receive more under his release clause (reportedly at £30m). It may give us a read across on the Trafford situation.
