He’s literally picking up where he left off at the end of last season, constantly loosing it publicly isn’t he
Their start to the season is so bizarre, loads of top players still.
As funny as it is, we need him to turn it round and get above Rovers

I think we would all have taken 4 points and 17th after those first 6 games at the start of the season. Sunderland have surprised everyone and they are now pretty much 1/3 of the way to safety after just 6 games. But it’s a long season. The games get kinder to us now but that brings a pressure to pu...

I’d imagine the next few months are going to be like this, most of their fans have stayed away from games during their spell at the Olympic stadium and everyone in Catalunya is going to want a ticket when the Nou camp is back open they are going to go mad for it. Prices will be worse if it opens at ...

According to The Times today Burnley are seeking £50m in compensation from Everton. Burnley will argue at the International Dispute Resolution Centre in London that Everton’s penalty and its timing cost them relegation. The case is expected to last 2 months. Sounds an expensive approach if we don’t...

Bringing Wilder back for a third stint would be very odd. He did a good job overall last season, but let’s not forget he appeared to lose the plot towards the end of last season. From memory a lot of their fans thought he was at fault for their loss of form at the crucial point last season. Parker ...

Unlike previous seasons, they can be got at, there’s a vulnerability to them that comes with bedding in the new fullbacks and Konates loss of form. Stopping them up the other end though is a different ball game.

I’ll rephrase, there are footballers with low levels of technical ability, relative to other players in the league who nonetheless are valuable commodities as they excel physically, someone like Adama Traore being a prime example. The prem is far more athletic, there are some gash footballers in this league who are simply just quicker and stronger than anyone else so it works well and id include Lyle in that. Just needs to bag 10 goals.

Saudi is probably a safer place to live than the UK right now, in fairness. Most of the footballers going there live in the UAE/Bahrain and commute into Saudi. The biggest clubs have private jets for them to fly in on, totally different world for him there. £100k tax free and imagine he’s got a few...

Unacceptable at all times but you sort of get it if it’s an uneducated young yob, but if you’re behaving like this at 59, you’re just a bad person.

Good start for Boro, I think there’s a consensus they should have been making the playoffs last 2 years. Leicester, Cov, WBA, Bristol no real suprise and Brum have spent a small fortune. Awful start for Ipswich and Sheff - 10 points off automatic promotion & open dissent on the terraces is a disaster.

Odd one, isn't it? Surely he's received offers but why hasn't he signed for anyone? Very, generally when a player leaves a club on a free (rather than the club not retain him) there is almost always something lined up, especially given that he will have had a very good offer on the table relative t...

It will book up no problem, no decent hotel in the town centre and very few in the town at all.
Must be structurally sound to make a massive renovation cheaper than a rebuild but if that’s the case then fair play it will be a welcome addition.

The problem with the FAB is whilst it’s inclusive of all of these minority groups, the vast majority of matchgoing fans don’t fit into any of these groups, so it’s inclusive but it’s not representative.
I get the feeling they are just nodding dogs for the board, all just happy to be involved.

No, the company sold all the high street shops and only kept the ones in airports and train stations. In practical terms Isak putting in a formal transfer request doesn't change anything in terms of Newcastle's standpoint
It means they don’t owe him a few million in loyalty bonus, which if they are going to accept below asking price will matter to them.

Why would submitting a transfer request nullify a contract. Is that something specific to football? Generally it’s written into contracts that by submitting an official transfer request you forgo any loyalty bonus that would be paid after the length of a contract, (or should the club decide to sell...

I’m in the B camp, HOWEVER if you say your player is worth £150m then you should be paying him the market rate wage for a player of that value, club can’t have it both ways.
Similar situation at Napoli with Krava a few years ago, saying Nile was worth £100m but paying him £20k a week.
