I think Geoff went on to play for Spenwell (an amalgam of Spencer and Cardwell St in Padiham), along with (I think) Derek Bulcock, and Vincent Charnley, amongst others if I'm not mistaken! Thanks for that. Geoff, Derek and I were in the same year at AGS and Geoff was a quality player for the school ...

I played against Martin Dobson in about 1965 when he was Clitheroe GS's Centre Forward. I was playing for Accrington GS and we beat them 4-1. The best player on the pitch was'nt Dobbo. It was Geoff Henshall from Padiham and I've no idea what happened to him but MD was class even then. Sorry to stray...

Always enjoyed watching Jimmy Greaves, George Best and Pele and lucky enough to see them all live. But Ray Pointer was my super hero.

Anything by John Steinbeck and Kurt Vonnegut. Also enjoyed the Steig Larsson Millenium trilogy.
