Re: Everton v West Ham

Sadly, it wasn't for the dissent afterwards because he went straight to his pocket when the Everton players foot landed on his opponents foot, even though this is a common thing in a 50/50 challenge. The issue of the card led to the dissent and understandably so because Dewsbury-Hall will be suspen...

How is that a foul and a booking for winning the ball ? Refs are ruining the game .
The booking would have been for the dissent afterwards I’d have thought. Still a terrible decision to award the free kick.

I asked if the team was still going. He said there’s about six of them but the rest just did it for TV. He told me he was dying to say he was from Burnley but they wouldn’t let him because of the context - ‘That’s TV for you!’ was his comment!

As predicted an easy win for the Clarets. I was at a loose end today so went to watch - probably about 200 on including a two man ‘Pasha Out’ protest.

A tale of two teams - one who have been backed considerably and one that has had that taken away.

That's true about Waddle and Jump, but i think we ditched Tina long before then. Didn't we walk out to Tom Hark in between, or was that after Jump? Tom Hark as a walk out was before Waddle and then came back as goal music in the 2000s STB and TH were at similar times and I’m sure it varied from one...

Looks like it.

My father in law bought two for tonight and asked for a printed ticket as he had been given one for the Derby game. He was told, in polite and respectful manner he stressed, that if he wanted a printed out ticket then he could get it done from his email at the library for free.

It’s an accident and obviously no intention or maliciousness about the challenge but the contact into Collins’ face impedes him from making an attempt to get to the ball.

The midfield pairing for Barcelona were immense in that second half.

Very huff and puff from Newcastle although their goal was a brilliant move. Apart from that it was a bit ‘headless chicken’ possibly in an attempt to please the fervent crowd.
