I believe it was because it had cannoned off a United player before it hit him so technically they were the last team to have possession of the ball. His injury record is a concern but he was a class act in the Championship last season. I’d be interested to see how many goals we scored as a result from him breaking the opponent’s attacking line on one of his dribbles from centre half.

Thought he had a good game and could have easily buckled on the three penalty appeals.

One thing I didn’t understand was the stop of our attack in the second half and then hand the ball to Onana to resume. Did I miss an obvious reason as to why?

Not sure how true it is but was told that the land/building belongs to someone who would expect a hefty fee to give permission for it to be bulldozed. Might be a load of rubbish.

It was a penalty though in my opinion. Lamptey gets the slightest touch on the ball but no way in control of the tackle.
