Re: REPORT: Magnificent in Manchester
I really enjoyed Saturday’s match - open ended game, plenty of chances for both teams and edge of your seat stuff all the way up until the final whistle. Characteristics that have been absent from so many games this season. It was my daughter’s first away game and I had to remind her at the end that...

Re: RATE THE REF - John Brooks v Manchester United
I believe it was because it had cannoned off a United player before it hit him so technically they were the last team to have possession of the ball. Makes no sense as it was only going to be picked up by us anyway looking at the direction it was heading but them's the laws I guess. Ah. Cheers for ...

His injury record is a concern but he was a class act in the Championship last season. I’d be interested to see how many goals we scored as a result from him breaking the opponent’s attacking line on one of his dribbles from centre half.

Re: RATE THE REF - John Brooks v Manchester United
Thought he had a good game and could have easily buckled on the three penalty appeals.
One thing I didn’t understand was the stop of our attack in the second half and then hand the ball to Onana to resume. Did I miss an obvious reason as to why?

Re: REPORT: Burnley win big at Bramall Lane
It was wonderful in that it was our first goal back in the first division but it hit someone in their defensive wall which left the goalkeeper helpless. Dobbo’s was a fine goal. Fourth time I’ve seen us win there but I think the 2008/09 one stands out given we also had a scratch team out and then h...

A couple of weeks ago I’d have been well and truly against Esteve staying but he’s won me around a little. Assignon is no better than what we’ve got. Bruun Larsen I think would be worthwhile if we are not having to break the bank for him although I’d love Zaroury to be back in and give us another se...

I don't expect any of Rodriguez, Cork or Brownhill to be with us next season. JBG I think has triggered a clause in his contract so can stay should he choose to. Given the reluctance at times to play Taylor, I suspect he might go too. Let’s hope, particularly Cork and Rodriguez, that they get an op...
