i was 3year and 6 months when promoted in 1947 but dont remember it so I suppose 11 would be a lie but all the other 10 as well as winning the league in 1960. Those were the days. In the late forties and early fifties if you were so inclined you could stand behind the goals at the BeeHole end for the first half and then move to the cricket field stand for the second half.

Listened to the 1947 cup final on the radio. If I remember correctly Burnley had quite a few chances to win,commentators were Allan Clarke and Raymond Glendenning. Charlton had been beaten four or five one the year before by Derby County.
