A ridiculous sum, but in context not unheard of. A lot of money, but less than the P60 annnual earnings I saw about 20 years ago for a Credit Suisse banker, which is the highest PAYE earnings I’ve ever seen. I think the fact they can reset in the next two games will help them. They are a big, strong team with some clever players like Hamer and O’ Hare. It’s just whether they can shake off the disappointment.

Credit where it’s due - I was a massive skeptic but this new tournament style has really kept the interest level in the Champions League until the final game.

Watch the summary coverage on TNT 5 and was goal after goal. No last minute twist but you can’t have everything.

I genuinely don’t see what it seems like a lot of others see.

He tries flicks when no-one is there, falls over A LOT and play acts all the time when he loses the ball and just lies on the floor even when they have the ball.

Not for me so far. Hope he comes good though.

It’s a tough one - he’s not wrong in what he’s saying but we’re only human. It’s hard to watch us sideways passing along the backline vs getting on the front foot without getting frustrated.

The patience will come with time and understand what our game plan is I believe.
