Re: WHY do people chuck things at football grounds ?
There just seems to be less and less deterrent for people acting like a prick. I’m only in my 40’s but in my day the deterrent against being a prick was a smack in the face. With my 2025 perspective I’d say it’s good thing we don’t have the threat of violence looming over our shoulder all the time. ...

Towneley Hall has recently reopened after being closed for 3 years, but be aware, it's closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. Went in a couple of weeks past. Definitely an asset to the town. It was heritage week so they had a lot of staff on so learned quite a few facts too. The one that struck me the most ...

I think this can only be a good thing for us as we play them soon.
Complete change in approach and playing style and loss of a popular manager should create a lot of uncertainty.
We’ll still be underdogs - but a fast start from us could really put the pressure on them.

This thread blows my mind. Most of the comments are from the “more fool you” brigade who never buy from a concession stand because it’s a) not good value for money or b) your life skills are lacking for not having sorted drink/food out before. However people like the OP and myself are willing to pay...

Interesting to see Edwards in a more central position - I suspect that could get the best out of him. I hope not - I thought he was dreadful today. Sloppy passing and bullied off the ball - especially for their goal. Before the subs I thought we looked decent - especially playing 5 at the back for ...

Parker and the team will get 100% support through the season IF (and its a big if) we keep most of the team together that got us there instead of ripping it up in previous seasons. I think the fact they can reset in the next two games will help them. They are a big, strong team with some clever players like Hamer and O’ Hare. It’s just whether they can shake off the disappointment.

Trafford is excellent with his feet. He’s excellent at slowing the game down and passing it to his CBs or Cullen when pressed. Definitely better than Pope. It’s because the bookies are pricing in that because we play Sheff Utd on Easter Monday one of us is guaranteed to drop points.
What they don’t seem to be pricing in is that “Leeds are falling apart……again”
