Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
Just watched Luis play the last 20 minutes. Didn't look like he got injured, so hopefully all good. He seemed bigger than when I'd seen him on YouTube highlights. Didn't stop running but also didn't have much of the ball as Benfica were defending a lead with 10 men. Off to get your flight you go!

I'd still keep Worrell over Ekdal if it came to that (I don't expect either to leave). We need leaders like Worrell to get us through this season. Sometimes personally and leadership makes up for ability.

Re: Hannibal
If we sign Luis, I think Hannibal will be the one for the chop from our starting 11. I love how he gets opponents backs up and that will come in useful over the season, but I expect we'll play Ugochuckwu further forward with Cullen and Luiz sitting.

I remember on the first documentary one of the board members (or VK) suggesting he'll be better in the premier league than the championship. It's so true, but I don't understand why. Maybe playing football on the break rather than final third intricacy? He's powerful and not short of pace. Really pl...

I'm sure there were young and better options out there but we haven't got a bottomless pit. We still had Ugochukwu, Broja and all the rest to pay for. This is a smart, cheap signing which has allowed us to spend in other areas.

He's a seriously fantastic defender and iId be very surprised if he doesn't go on to play regularly for the French national team. Brilliant news if we've managed to tie him down. it might only be until next summer but regardless, should help boost the transfer fee.
