8.5. Some brilliant additions and the board have backed the manager. No complaints here. Let's see how they all settle. Well done all involved.

If we sign Luis, I think Hannibal will be the one for the chop from our starting 11. I love how he gets opponents backs up and that will come in useful over the season, but I expect we'll play Ugochuckwu further forward with Cullen and Luiz sitting.

I remember on the first documentary one of the board members (or VK) suggesting he'll be better in the premier league than the championship. It's so true, but I don't understand why. Maybe playing football on the break rather than final third intricacy? He's powerful and not short of pace. Really pl...

I really really really hate Leeds and I really really really really hate it when Leeds win with a scabby refereeing decision!

I hope we don't play Walker as a centre back, he's been arguably the best right back in world football over the last 10 years or so.

If we signed Broja, Dubravka and Ugochukwu I wouldn't be disappointed if we called that a day. We don't want another over inflated squad full of unhappy players not getting a game.

A thought, could BFC be holding back a signing announcements so they can release it after a Trafford to City announcement, to soften the blow?
I'm pretty certain we're holding back the Esteve contract news too.

The Senegalese striker looks a real handful. I can't see us beating Man United and Brentford to him though.
Done anyone know what Nixon headline of 'Burnley, Stevenage want keeper' is about?

He's a seriously fantastic defender and iId be very surprised if he doesn't go on to play regularly for the French national team. Brilliant news if we've managed to tie him down. it might only be until next summer but regardless, should help boost the transfer fee.

Hopefully we can begin to move on from Trafford now that seems to be almost done.
Brilliant news on Steve if true. The best centre half I've ever seen at Burnley.

City apparently want 35m for McAtee, so surely we can write our chances of any involvement in the Trafford deal off. Forest, West Ham and Dortmund interested.

So realistically we need a GK, strong central midfielder alongside Cullen, and a striker. I wonder what sort of money we're expecting to spend on these.

Looks like a medical is happening according to turfcast
Interesting. It's been a bit quiet on the rumours front, so we might be in for another surprise a la Walker.

Pretty unbelievable signing. He might be slightly past his best but thats a big statement signing. Hopefully helps attract others too.

I don't think we can say Trafford is a better keeper than Pope yet. Pope has proved himself in the prem over many years, Trafford had a tough time in his single premier league season.

Seeing footage from earlier in the incident, it appears there is some kind of road rage and the guy has completely lost his mind and driven into the crowds. Police confirmed it's a white British man from Liverpool. I hope everyone is ok.

The Sheff Utd fans call him the 60 minute wonder. He doesn't often get close to finishing 90 mins - there must be a reason why no PL teams took him in a free as good as he is Could the same be said of Hannibal? Certainly not intended as a dig, but Hannibal puts so much into the game that's he's goo...
