Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.

We are apparently after a centre back as well. So could be possible that Parker wants to revert to his 433 system from last season with 2 in front of Cullen I’m seeing two systems basically being played this season depending on opposition, back 5 for the majority and going for counter attacking foo...

Re: What do we need

I think SP will play mostly 5 at the back, especially against the better sides that want possession and attacking intent, and we’ll be more defensive looking to break. But, against side lower down and that are set up for low possession and counter attacking intent, it be a more traditional back 4. W...

I think he’ll be playing, but not in place of Foster, we’ve seen Foster play on the left before, however I think it’s more likely he play instead of Hannibal. Means a great evening and super weekend now, I’m not surprised with the result. Read comment on Sunderland re result, few had it as difficult, but draw or 0-1, quite a few had it as 0-3, delusional after last week!

Re: THE SUPER CLARETS vs The Black Cats ~ Match Thread

4 at the back for me, more attacking intent, will see these changes throughout, depending on who we are playing and SP thoughts on attack or defense as the tactic of the day. Obviously more attacking today, which Sunderland will like as they will be a counterattacking team for most of the season, as...

Re: Team News vs The Mackems

think he will go with a back 4 today, will look to attack more, which is probably what Sunderland wants, they want to counterattack and are fast enough, Ekdal will be in trouble unless he stays way back in this one. I think only one new starter in Lesley for this game, others I expect to have some g...

Re: Summer transfer window

Leeds United scored 26 more goals than Burnley during the last Championship season and are more likely to be on the front foot and showing attacking intent than Scott Parker’s Burnley. On that basis alone I would expect DCL to be presented with, and convert, more scoring opportunities than Broja. P...

I'm hoping Beyer is fit and starts early with trainer and getting back to a first team choice, along with what we have, who hopefully stay, but if not we need to get good fees and buy wisely, obviously that's for any position, but I think these two positions are going to be critical for us.
