Spent the first half of the evening at Haslingden watching my nephew play for Clitheroe 15s then just caught the end of Rammy in their T20 followed a couple of beers.

Great crowds and atmospheres at both grounds.

Sorry if I am being really thick, but have Sky announced any fixtures yet? If Spurs are in the Super Cup the preceding g Wednesday that will rule Friday out but this game could be moved for tv to Sunday or Monday?

Can’t make it unfortunately but will be a great gig, 6 music were bogging it up the other day as it’s part of their BBC Introduces programme linked to independent venue week.

We have however purchased tickets for The Chameleons at The Grand in November which will be another great night.

One email to the ticket office to just confirm all our tickets would be renewed by DD. Positive answer back 5 minutes later. I wish I got that service from other things I buy online if I have a question.

Also worth mentioning that the local buses are superb. We have stayed in Costa Adeje a few times and enjoy the walk to Caleta but have used the buses to lots of different places.

Mainly go to cycle, which is fairly brutal but amazing roads and scenery once you get off the coast.

The ticket office can sort this over the phone in 2 minutes, had this problem yesterday.

I’ve had various issues this week as I manage tickets for kids and elderly parents, but now it’s sorted I think this new system will be a lot better. Hopefully just teething problems.

I’m going to put in a huge shout for Vitinho. For me he was one who came out of last season with credit for always putting a shift in and doing whatever job he was asked to do.

Last night exemplified that and whether he’s at full back or in midfield he’ll do for me.
