Re: From the Bee Hole End podcast…
Spurs and Man United were 17th and 15th last season, why are they suddenly now top 6 sides to suit your argument? Man united are so shite they nearly gifted us a point despite steam rolling us. (albeit they lost) but United absolutely spanked Arsenal at home this year, beat Chelsea and I think they...

Goal scoring machine - seems like he's just added heading to his locker as well as his all-around link-up play.
For me has the potential to be the greatest goal scorer and perhaps even striker of all time. He's incredible.

Re: Josh Laurent
I've seen Foster taking some stick about not being in the right place at the right time or not playing like an out and out number nine. The way we are setting up means he is having to run channels and press from the front. I believe this suits his game anyway, picking the ball up in the left channe...

Re: Josh Laurent
Our strongest central midfield (I don't think we have seen them together yet) on paper is Luis, Cullen and Ugochukwu. It appears to have a good balance and something we can build the team around. IMO this is where we start with our team selection and then fit the other elements of the side around t...

Henley and Lowry the two best on the day - very high level match, again massive respect to Shane Lowry, absolutely magic on those last 3 holes. Sensational stuff.

Easy to say with hindsight, but do you think Donald was going for the kill with the lineup today? Perhaps a more spread out lineup would have been a better strategy... Again easy to say... I do believe if Rosie had dropped his putt or Young had missed his, we'd have wrapped that up early. Ludvig Abe...

Be honest, when he hit that one 50-60 yard through ball to (I think Foster?) from deep in the final minutes of the game against Sheff Wed? he looked like absolute mustard and we all got very excited..

Only just noticed in the stats that CoolClaret linked above that Scheffler has been in the top 6 players for strokes gained in the last 3 sessions. Interesting. That stat measure, which is good because it has an average for the field of zero so ignores the easiness of the course, does have one iffy...

Yep. The Europeans have been the more dominant team over the last 20-25 years and players like Tiger have shown that it doesn't suit their mentaility on the golf course - arguably Scheffler is doing the same this time. Unquestionably a man you would put your house on in a normal, singles tournament...

Think he's playing 3 at the back because he doesn't rate any of our options to partner Esteve in a back 4.
Though I do think he needs to get Cullen Les, and Florentino playing together. We've splashed out on two of those and the other is our captain.... they simply have to play.

I had the pleasure of having lunch with Billy Foster last week and he called pretty much everything that has happened, right down to Finnis getting stuck in if it came to it. Only watched a bit of the game (20 mins either side of half time) so can't really comment on the match, but feel like SP has to get Les, Florentino and Cullen into the side and yes, that probably means going to a back 4. Well it wasn’t a 3 at the back, was it? It was a 5, we were sat deep, I can’t recall a single cross from either of the “wing backs”. Well that's what happens with 3 at the back when you don't have the ball, unless you want the wingbacks not to track back at all and just stand high and wide all game...

Then you get onto the system, 5 defenders against League One dross at home. The team sat deep, parking the bus, pressing 1 at a time. Passing sideways and backwards. There’s absolutely no reason for Edwards, Broja and Flemming to ALL be behind the ball in their own half. No idea why we need Edwards...

Parker 3 - a woeful managerial performance, shameful, disgraceful and we need to demand an apology. Five at the back against a League One side and even then our wingbacks didn’t push up much, and our inside forwards were asked to track back which was farcically negative. We had nobody up front to b...

I don't blame the selection so far, I think we've got more than enough to win the game, people are acting like we've put out an U21's side, all of those players will feature in the PL and some will be considered starters for us. It's on Parker to get somthing better out of the next 45 though. Not s...

Agree but it is the message it sends, that he isn’t bothered, when he doesn’t name a single one of our best XI on the bench. That’s why we see zero motivation, they get the vibe the manager isn’t bothered, which, lets be frank, he isn’t. Last season we sacked off the FA Cup with an easy route to th...
