From the memorial garden, head away from the road into the houses on Holcombe Drive to get to the cricket club rather than walking round with the new restrictions.
Was hoping to see you mate
Good result and well done, drop me a message have a few updates for you.

The memorial garden is always accessible.
By mural do you mean the large player photos on the stadium walls? If so they are no longer displayed, I think the chairman had them taken down.
Yes mate, thanks for that really appreciate it.

I grew up across the road from Peter Noble. He was a top, top man. Always used to love seeing me and my mates having a kick about outside - giving us a few tips here and there and letting us jump over into his garden at will to get any loose balls 😂 LA ? The street ? We used to go in the brunshaw I...

There were rumours on the train home that Sunderland fans racially abused Burnley players and Kompany was close to bringing the players off. Surely a coach and not train ? If true shocking ! Peter Noble is one of the best players I've seen in a Burnley shirt and a complete professional. One of my all time favourites.
He owes me £5, mind. That shirt he sold me shrank in the wash.

Send me your details I’ll pay it

Obviously we don't know how bad it was, but it must happen often. Sunderland put a ready made notice up on the big screen asking away fans not to throw missiles into the stands.
Disgraceful if any of our fans have been doing it though.

Sorry to hear that Jacka. Absolutely inexcusable. Some real bellends in our support, I’m afraid. Think you were hard done by today. 4 shots on target and 4 goals, one of them spectacular. Burnley don’t often do that, although we’ve been hard done by in plenty of games this season so maybe our turn ...

Away fans welcome in the Hilton next to stadium, also the colliery tavern if you want a cheaper pint.
Bit further is the Wheatsheaf, and town is only another ten min walk over bridge. Plenty of bars welcome away fans, safe trip up.

We haven’t been to Wembley that often but on this date we’ve played there twice.
1. Wolves in Sherpa Van in 1988
2. Stockport in play-off in 1994
Two days with lots of memories, more so the second of them with our first Wembley win.
That was when the over 40's played before wasn't it?
