I have decided to go to the meeting. It's at 7pm in Nelson Town Hall.

A skate park would probably end up another white elephant and who is going to pay for it. With the 3G proposal the money is there, 6 weeks from handing over the keys a brand new 3G would be there ready to play on. No brainer as far as the community is concerned!

Im pretty sure Joe Cooney fought hard to stop Marsden Golf club being sold, and Im sure he was well against the Urban altitude being closed. Lets hope Joe goes out of his way to keep the pitch at the meeting on Thursday night at Nelson Town Hall..... Bit of luck he will talk the rest of the Clown H...

I have played on this pitch when it was cinders and also 2G. Absolute top notch facility. Lets hope democracy wins out and a self funded pitch can be put down.
