Re: **** VAR
The way VAR is implemented is the frustrating thing for me. When one of the so-called "smaller" clubs want VAR to intervene they don't seem to even look at it or dismiss it quickly to go with the onfield decision, but when it's one of the big teams needing the help of VAR they almost always get it,...

Re: **** VAR
The problem with VAR is that is not doing what it was created to do. I thought VAR was meant to eradicate human error, pick up things the ref didn’t see and stop inconsistent decision making by officials…….. We used to just have MOTD pundits picking apart poor ref decisions and now we have MOTD pund...

Just what is the point in selecting Henderson? He’s gonna be nowhere near the starting X1 in the World Cup Finals, staged in 3 hot countries. Just baffling. The heat will ultimately kill us along with just about every other nation that is not used to playing in these conditions. Exercising in extre...

Longer term, someone like Delap might be an option, but the here and now suggests we are short of strikers.

Šeško is a player with great potential. He's tall, strong, fast and technical. However, he's gone to the wrong club. You may well be right, however, from what I saw yesterday he didn’t look quick at all, the ball seemed to bounce off him and he looked miles off it! Hopefully this continues this com...

I know it’s a bit of a cliche, but let’s see where we are after 10 games before we make any judgements. I wouldn’t normally say this, especially so early in the season, but I think tomorrow is already a must win game for me. For me the thing that p****s me off the most with officiating at the top level is the vast lack of consistency from one game to the next! It’s ridiculous really, and inevitably leaves supporters wondering if their team is being unfairly treated whilst the big boys often seem to get away with it.

Sadly, players and their agents have far too much power! Admittedly, professional football is unique in the sense that employers...

Whichever way Parker goes, I think the main thing will be to not fall into this trap of playing out from the back at all costs leaving clubs like Southampton on 12 points!
Judging by last season, I think we generally had this balance right and I’m sure this will continue into this season.

I hope not - I thought he was dreadful today. Sloppy passing and bullied off the ball - especially for their goal. No matter what job or career path you take, you can't do your best unless you are happy. Happiness is all down to appreciating what you've got. Wolves and Brentford may be a part of the relegation mix this year. I think that’s the best point to be made CT - past records really so count for very little for the vast majority of players.
