Re: Man City vs The SUPER CLARETS - MATCH THREAD
Why does that mean we needed to beat Forest? Out of the two fixtures we actually had a chance of getting something from we've taken 4 points- thats a good return. We could have and should have had more from some of the others too, but that's by the by. If we take 4 points each time we have 2 "easie...

Re: The Tresorrection is real
The weird part of this situation is that when Tresor plays, he generally looks decent and an actual threat unlike some of our attacking players. A very strange couple of years with this lad and he clearly isn’t going to be a Parker type of player…..

Unfortunately, this type of fixture epitomises everything that is now so wrong with the Premier League.
If we played this fixture 100 times, would we even win 1? I genuinely hope that the 1 is today, but realistically, the odds are we get battered as per normal at the Emptihad…….

Hard to understand the last 2 years with this lad tbh! By all accounts he did more in the short time on the pitch from an attacking perspective the other night than everyone else combined.

I turned it off after 25 minutes last night so didn’t see the goals or outcome…….
Having read the reviews this morning it sounds like we were awful with too many players looking like they couldn’t have cared less?!?!
A strange way to stake your claim in the starting 11 for the weekend……

Getting completely overrun here. They can either play through the middle with their ball players or go long to Wood who’s winning everything.

I saw fat Ronaldo play against England in the Umbro cup in 1995. Didn’t know who he was at that point, but by the time he’d finished running our defence ragged, you knew this lad was special! Also seen Messi live in his prime playing for Barca; a ridiculous player to watch as he made adult professio...

Yes or no…..
If yes, what 3 things would you change if you were in charge?
If no, what do you like about the modern day game?

The challenge remains the same; somehow we have to win 10-12 games across the season to stand a chance of survival. With that in mind, games like yesterday were a free hit so to speak with anything gained a massive bonus. The real challenge comes when we play those teams we are more likely to gain w...

Still think we needed an upgrade at centre back and in attack, but we definitely have a much better fighting chance of survival this time around IMO.

The way he’s treated such a great club who gave him his shot in the Premier League whilst paying him a handsome salary is quite frankly disgusting.

Luis is exactly the type of player we need in midfield. From what I’ve seen of him, he’s quick, got bundles of energy, wins it and then gives it to someone who’s better on the ball than he is. I reckon this signing will cut down the number of chances we are currently coughing up……..
