More officials equals more mess ups. Surely they know what they gave in the first half should be consistent with the second. The bar is set for the pen decision and they fail to apply the same bar just minutes later and the smaller club is disadvantaged both times.

You have to laugh at the irony. Var and ref make mistakes by giving the pen and yet all the focus is on the refs next mistake of accidentally touching Fernandes.agreenwood wrote: ↑Sun Aug 24, 2025 5:25 pmSky doubling down on Fernandes being “put off” by the referee lightly bumping into him.

Re: End the season now for me.
The Tarks one is a pen for me. I’ve read a few experts saying his arm is in a natural position. The opposite is true as he is trying to hide his arm behind his side which is actually unnatural. He leans towards it with his body ensuring the ball hits him. It all happens as an instinctive reaction of...

I have no issue with the decision as Tarky clearly knows what he’s doing. However, given he is partially unsighted, it’s been deflected and the hand is by his side I’m really looking forward to the kind of inconsistency we are going to see this season with this type of decision. I’m guessing some cl...

Only a year ago I think Everton were looking at a loan to buy with circa 30m fee so to get him for 10 is a good deal, clearly because of the injuries. We couldn’t cope with him at Southampton a few years ago so if he gets to anywhere near that it could be a great deal.

Scheffler is becoming similar to early noughties Tiger. The ball is on a string at times. He just doesn’t make mistakes. Very unlikely to be caught now. Similar to when Tiger won at Hoylake.

Brentford are not more successful than us in the last decade or the last history. Have they played in Europe this decade? I must have missed that. They last played in the top flight in 1947 before 2021. They have a tin pot history.

Don’t think it is as bad as people are making out. You can see that from the refs angle it could look like the ball is between both hands and he blows when he sees that.
