Embarrassing tbh. I remember a World Cup game in 1982 finishing 10 - 1. This may beat that one. You can’t have pub teams playing in this competition.

Brentford are not more successful than us in the last decade or the last history. Have they played in Europe this decade? I must have missed that. They last played in the top flight in 1947 before 2021. They have a tin pot history.

The club had a say and the manager should be a part of those discussions. Actually you could argue that the club should be fined for that decision given that Brighton and the other clubs vying for Europe still had skin in the game on that last day. Palace and Liverpool showed respect to the competit...

Don’t think it is as bad as people are making out. You can see that from the refs angle it could look like the ball is between both hands and he blows when he sees that. I would want that given as a foul against us for sure. VAR can’t change that one and given how bad VAR is on ones it can change, I...

You have to make a stand when you’re being held all the time. The refs do nothing about the holding and so defenders just do it all the time. The PSG players were at it last night too. As much as they need to cut out the diving the holding is just as bad.

The 3rd and 4th goal for Inter were top class particularly in the circumstances. That 4th goal is a great example of the difference between a player at the very top and a good player. Was offside and the Barnes goal would have been VAR’d. That 16 goals conceded is such a shame because a good few of them would have been ruled out with better officials and, you would have to say, VAR. Coventry, WBA and yesterday could all legitimately have been ruled out. We should be sat on the re...

We’ve been Lancashire’s number one for over a decade. Long may it continue. The north end fans had a hard on when they were a couple of places above us in the league whilst still not being the top team in Lancashire. I don’t think they’ve been the top team in Lancashire since the 1880’s tbh.
