Re: The three promoted clubs. Are the actually good?
I still think Sunderland go down. They have been incredibly lucky with the fixtures and more specifically when those games were played. They should have lost points to Brentford who missed a pen and Palace who missed an open goal. They beat West Ham with about 0.6 xg. They played Forest after a Euro...

Re: Match of the day
Most Burnley supporters predicted we’ll go down, it’s not a difficult conclusion to draw given how promoted teams have fared recently. Unless you considered that we conceded about a quarter of the goals of Southampton and less than a third of Ipswich in their previous Championship campaigns. Massiv...

It’s embarrassing tbh. Only Richards partially predicted us to stay up pre season and all other pundits had us going down. They don’t want the narrative to be wrong. If they can’t see that we have basically been in pretty much every game this season then they are not doing their job tbh. As for comp...

There’s always a flip side but both the other teams have away points already whilst we are at Spurs, Old Trafford, Etihad and Villa, places where even 1 point is unlikely. Away points for a promoted team is massively important and nothing from those games puts far more pressure on to your home games.

We’ve definitely been shafted with the fixtures for a number of reasons. The two coming up with us have had fixtures far easier than ours. A good start enables you to get a strong foothold in the division and to give you confidence that you can compete, particularly with players new to the division....

Another one. No way you cancel that goal. Clueless officials again. Whether we have VAR or not the officials still need to understand the game and what is accidental and what isn’t. Unfortunately, again we have a ref, VAR and aVAR, none of them understanding the game.

Hilarious that they had finished 6th, 7th and 9th with a 14th finish and European trophy one season in between, and wanted rid of the manager. You still ask fans and they are glad that bloke has gone. They’ll never be happy until they win another World Cup tbh.

VAR or no VAR we get shafted anyway. The Lino gave the offside just like the ref gave the first pen for the non foul. So no VAR and we may be an extra goal behind at half time. With no VAR in the second half we likely get a battling draw but of course when it’s a small team at Old Trafford they can ...

The Fulham one is so bad it’s ridiculous. The ref calls it a challenge when it wasn’t. I’m sure he’d seen the Fulham player do a pirouette with full control of the ball. the assistant ref flagged for offside so this goal would have been chalked out regardless of VAR. The problem with giving it back to the refs means that they get the first pen today even though it’s not a foul or in the area. The big clubs get the benefit of doubt with or without VAR.

Couldn’t wait to give them everything. The pen he gave in the first half is a guess and check the badge job. The linesman gave an offside that was never offside but affects our momentum. Clearly paid to give anything close to the big teams so it’s harder to overturn. It’s not even in doubt anymore a...

More officials equals more mess ups. Surely they know what they gave in the first half should be consistent with the second. The bar is set for the pen decision and they fail to apply the same bar just minutes later and the smaller club is disadvantaged both times.
