We need a reality check. Last year our profit was circa 5 million. But bear in kind we sold Sam Vokes for a reported 9 million. According to today’s Daily Mail wages were £37m which accounts for 27 percent of annual turnover. If this is just players wages we spend around £50m on others wage costs.

Would the Geordies be happy with Dyche?
A manager arriving from a smaller club with limited budget to a larger club with a limited budget. He may be seen as a good fit for Ashley but not a good move for Dyche, and not solving the problem for the Geordies.
