Recently retired so going to New Zealand in January. Originally had it planned for 2021 and had booked time off work but then COVID happened. It’s always been on my bucket list.

Re: Cricket field stand

I can’t see the atmosphere improving if we have the best singers (the cricket field fans) next to us lot in the Bob Lord. I think the away fans should go into the first 3 blocks of the longside lower. I would think our fans already sat there would be happy to move to an all claret cricket field stand.

Just bought two tickets. One for me and one for a “friend or family”. You can choose any seats available (not just your season ticket seat) so we’re going to sit a bit nearer the front.

Re: BL Tannoy

Front few rows of BL can hear the PA clearer but it’s further back where it is impossible. All you hear is double sound from the BL speakers and the speakers in the longside (which must be extremely loud). Maybe therefore it’s audible in the directors’ box. It just needs the output in each stand to ...

I started going in 1972 when my church minister offered to take me (I was 13 at the time). Also Burnley was the favourite team of the boy at junior school that I looked up to. Nobody else seemed to support Burnley. Once I could get there myself I did. Have had a season ticket now for about 40 years....

I thought the vocal support tonight was tremendous. Yes Sheffield Wednesday made a great effort at singing but we kept going at our singing. It was a bit subdued mid first half as we got bogged down by their high press. Once we went ahead, and certainly in the second half I thought our fans were bri...

Stuck advert in front of away fans.

Maybe I am suffering from OCD but, does anyone else find it really annoying that the electronic advert board in front of the away fans in the cricket field stand has been stuck showing “vbet” for the last three home games? Is it deliberate? Has anybody in charge noticed? I think it looks rubbish. Ra...

I like the idea that the prize pot grows every time it is not won, so £1000 next time I think. The thing is, I think it will be a miracle if anyone can make the ball stop in the small red circle in the centre of the plastic sheet. The chances of doing it with just one attempt and no practice makes i...
