Re: Padiham FC Thread
If you're looking for goals then come and watch Padiham. A 5-5 draw today in the Vase at Albion Sports in Bradford. They were 2-0 up, 3-1 up, 4-2 up and then conceded 3 goals in the last 10 minutes before equalising in the 97th minute! They lost 5-3 on penalties. What a match, only witnessed by 120 ...

Didn't Padiham once beat Burnley 10 - 0? It would have been in the mid 1880s.

If you think that Burnley play hoof ball then you should have been at the Arbories today to see a perfect example of the genre.
At least the Reedley Hallows Pendleside in the clubhouse was palatable.
The match inevitably ended 0-0.

All beers yesterday at Clitheroe CC were actually £4.30 a pint. The Cumberland sausage swirl on a roll at only £3.50 was a bargain! Real ale at Lowerhouse ( JW Lees MPA ) is £2.90 a pint with 10p off for members. Clitheroe members get a massive 20% discount - that's 86p off!

I was at the infamous "Judas!" concert in Manchester just two days before my 18th birthday. Burnley had qualified for Europe and the World Cup was just a few weeks away and I was lucky enough to be at Wembley to see England win. Of course "I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now!"

I always thought Goodison was designed at both ends in the way shown. The game featured is one I attended, USSR v Brazil, with Pele and Yashin(goalkeeper) in the picture.
