Re: Brownhill

Think “we’re crap” is a somewhat simplistic assessment. We have a much bigger budget relative to our competition when we go down, which is why you think we’re good, and a much lower one compared to our competitors when we come up. We’re not actually “crap” at all. We’re just a town club competing a...

Re: Team for Leeds

If we don’t rip up the back 5 with Laurent at RCB then I’ll wonder just what is going through SP’s head. It can’t happen again at this level, especially when we’ve got what looks like a strong midfield 3.

Stop trying to make players fit a system and start playing in a way that suits your best team.

Re: Back 5 will be the undoing of us

I fully expected us to shift to a back 5 this season given Parker’s use of the system previously, but I expected us to recruit the players to do it rather than putting Laurent at RCB. We’ve actually recruited the players to play 3 in midfield (Luis and Ugochukwu coming in) so any manager worth his s...

I've got no problem with SC at all. It was frequently difficult to watch and he could be very spiky and prickly at times, but it can't have been easy trying to manage a squad of 15/16 players through a 50+ game season each year. I hope he has an enjoyable time back at Cheltenham. Quite the Burnley c...

Just read through the thread and I have to agree with those saying it's time to move back to the 433 system, especially now we've got a run of fixtures where we're not playing the superpowers. One of the reasons for the 5 subs rule is so that the richer clubs can substitute a man who has been booked without weakening the side.
