I spoke to Ben this week as he is back local. Did make contact with BFC and wanted to come back and possibly trained with us or went to Gawthorpe but squad size is too big. A shame.

Was thankful for the great reception at the Sheff U game too.

Love Cullen and feel he can make it with the right players around him like Leslie but against top ten midfielders feel he does need to release the ball quicker to avoid being dispossessed.

I’ll go Anthony and Flemming to both do relatively well.

Broja to do very well if he stays fit. But I don’t think would be a surprise given his pedigree.

Re: Starting 11 to seriously compete?

I think Josh Cullen, with the right people around him, is a good enough footballer for the Prem. Of course he might struggle against top 8, but with pace around him, out ball options (maybe Walker and Q if we play 5 at the back, for example), he will be one of the least of our problems. He finished ...

Brentford the team for me to target. Loads of upheaval and rookie manager. Remember Le Bris too is a rookie, and Farke similar to Scotty P. So 4 managers there with no Prem survival experience - one has to stay up, if no changes. Sunderland will absolutely be in there - loads of signings, some very ...

A few United staff‘s kids (manager and fitness coach) at my sons school. So talk a bit on a colloquial level. Not trying to name drop, not cool.

But - they really rate Mount. When fit, absolute player, in their eyes.

I really don’t see the rumour, with how they talk about him.

'He only wanted Man City', as they say these days. (Or Newcastle, or whoever would pay).

Decent enough deal, especially given where we are with 10 games left in the last Prem season.

Would be very handy to retain him - our current back 5 (with the new lads), if they stay fit, gives us a chance of being competitive this year - it's front footed (full backs), fast, and all now have top level experience.
