Re: Here are Pep's tactics, how do you counter them?
Obviously I am a fan of Guardiola! Guardiola hasn't just assembled a lot of very expensive players, he has introduced a style of play with the characteristics that his Barcelona and Bayern teams were known for and 25 games in, we've won 22. That's pretty amazing. City spent big under Hughes, Mancini...

Re: Pep Guardiola
Do you think that we parked the bus today? No. I shouldn't have used the term park the bus. I thought you tried to counter-attack when you could but I would say that Burnley are 9/10 for defending. You are one of the best organised and hard working teams in the Premier League, but only 6/10 for att...

Re: Pep Guardiola
Showed his true colours last year. Mourinho/wenger esque. Chris waddle could achieve what he’s doing with the players at his disposal. Hell, they could manage themselves to the PL title. City improved by 12 points last season. What about Man Utd? They spent £180m on 2 players then go to big grounds...

Re: Pep Guardiola
Guardiola is a genius, but he needs the tools, and he only manages where he has the tools. Put yourself in his shoes, you would pick and choose your job. That said City was not an easy job when he came in because we had just finished 4th and we were way off the title and the team needed to be rebuil...

Re: Mancy City versus Mighty Clarets FA Cup R3
I thought it was a really good game with both manager's selecting a strong side. 1st half Burnley defended really well, and closed all our attacks down, although I thought City were playing quite well. 2nd half opened up as the space grew, and City took advantage. I thought sane was our cutting edge...

Re: Drinking in Manchester this Saturday
Is Lass O Gowrie still open? I think it closed down and then re-opened. Someone sent me an email suggesting I meet there a few days ago, but I never went so I guess it's open. The pubs you've got in this topic are the more traditional pubs in the City Centre. Exchange Square near Printworks and the...

Re: City sold out online?
- just logged in to say.. that I was told this afternoon in the pub that City had given us another 1000/1500 tickets.. is this true or is it rubbish.?.... UTC I doubt it. No news about that at city end. I don't think there are any available blocks left to give to you. The game is still onsale to Ci...

Re: Another dodgy pen decision
I'm sure you wont have much sympathy but what about Zaha's dive against City? Sterling made no challenge at all and he just collapsed. Good job Ederson saved the pen. I know you haven't had a pen yet. A part of it will be because you don't attack as much, part will be because you don't have dribbler...

Re: Newcastle last night, are we to blame
A few teams have been parking the bus against City, but most change tack when they go a goal down. Newcastle didn't. It hands the initiative to City when teams just allow us possession, and retreat. I don't think that's a good idea as City's midfield will find a way through. Better to press us I thi...

Re: 2017/18: Manchester City v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
Is there any taxi stations near the ground to get back to the centre after the game or can away fans have a drink in the fanzone near the tram stop? It took nearly an hour to get on a tram for our last game so looking at other options. I think the fanzone is home fans only but I never use it to be ...

There are only single seats left in lower 2 tiers, and in upper tiers there are a small number of tickets left in the corners. Less than a thousand in all.quoonbeatz wrote:home ends aren't close to selling out at all.

Re: 2017/18: Manchester City v Burnley – Cup Ticket Information
I picked up my ticket today, which was purchased online the minute they went on sale last Friday. Block 216, seat 443. Looks to be an end aisle right next to the man city fans! It's not. It's right in the middle of the stand behind the goal in the 2nd tier. It's a good seat. None of your fans will ...
