Re: Team News

Always going to be a tough game, look at their quality..
However, with their two best players missing and Rip Van Winkle not available, let's embrace today's challenge and get something from this game.
UTC and come on Hendricks, I fancy him for a goal today.

Re: Gawthorpe

Just shows how a well managed club can progress. To look back, I recall spending a week training at Brockhall when Blackburn trained there. There was one building with four sets of changing rooms, four of the more sensible patrons used to bring Tea and large trays of sandwiches down for the players ...

Re: Happy Jew Year

Claret blue, if Coyle was here, he'd be on the beach taking the kids up and down on his back....
I'm pretty sure he's at Ross County but no surprise, he's having a bad run

Re: Happy Jew Year

Happy New Year to Clarets all over the world. I'm sat here having a bottle of beer on St Kilda beach and would you believe it, a couple walk past and the guy has a Burnley top on. Couldn't resist stopping them and both joined me for a New Years toast to Sean Dyche, our team and our club Up the Clare...

Re: Crap ending to 2017

I think a bungalow is a bit over the top.
My good friend in Clitheroe runs his own Mobility business, I can arrange a good discount for fellow Clarets. Stair lifts with a 10% reduction in the new year.
He has a great deal on for used commodes too at present, could be useful short term!

Re: Aussies v England - 4th test

The rain has cleared although the cloud is still above the sky-line of Melbourne. 2.30 restart, Preston fan and his flag now in attendance, let's hope they show my Dyche for Life - Proudsville banner :D

Re: Aussies v England - 4th test

Not the same place at the MCG when so few attend. Looks as though Bird and his Teamates are in for a long day !

Re: If we finish 7th....

My take on qualifying for Europe would be a further reason for Sean to stay on next year. There is no doubt other clubs will come calling at the end of the season, further progression, European football, another platform for Sean to develop his experience. Added together, and a nice bonus cheque, wh...

Re: Aussies v England - 4th test

Fair play to Bird yesterday, came in for some real stick but won the Barmy Army over, watching the crowd swing to the left, then right was rib tickling

Re: Aussies v England - 4th test

Are you at the Game RV Claret? The first three days have been excellent, Jimmy for 50 this morning? Will be amongst the crowd today, still awaiting my case to turn up so no Burnley top for me. I'm surprised the shops in Melbourne have not already started to stock the Burnley kit alongside Man U, Che...
