What I love about this is not only SP's emotional side coming through but, in the background in the stands above, you can hear the crowd singing 'you'll always be a Claret'.

I was sat with the Derby Ultras  (my pal and his son have season tickets and the son couldn't make it). I have to say, they made a lot of noise throughout the game....but so did the Clarets fans. There was actually quite a respect going on despite the wind-up chants e.g. one of the locals said...

I've been more dull than usual and had a go at predicting the results for the top 3 from our Luton game onwards. I'd put us down for a draw against WBA and Sheff U beating Bristol City, so, from my perspective, whilst I'm a tad disappointed with only a draw against the Baggies I also feel like we've...

Prize money is pretty poor in the cup.....just getting to Wembley for a semi-final would make £1-2million from the gate receipts alone. That's where the decent cash might be made.

Born in Leeds (sorry) in the 1960s....always hated them for the same reasons most of us dislike them now....unpleasant fans and (back in the day, moreso) unpleasant team/manager (Revie). Most open FA Cup for years.....

So, we're only at the 5th round of the cup but with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs gone and a few other all prem fixtures which will see the back of, for example, either Newcastle or Brighton, this seems like the most open FA Cup for quite a while. Even those of the, so-called Big 6...

I think that's correct too, however the biggest difference is seeing teams drop off at the bottom ie the number of teams that can catch us keeps reducing till it becomes (hopefully) only one team, or better still, no-one that can catch us. In theory, the first of those teams that will drop off could...

92 pts minimum Really...with 4 teams going at it and each taking points off each other (at times) I suspect a lower number of points might be needed this season.
