Re: Live Aid - 40 years this month
Seem to remember radio 1 DJ, Simon Bates, doing the adverts for tickets, which were aired on radio one for the event. They were repeated quite a bit and it did not sell out straight away, like it no doublt would do nowadays. Getting tickets for big events was possible those days, before ticketmaster...

Due to a cock up, I'm having to move my season ticket seat. I have the stand/block/row and seat number, but despite searching on the club site and on google I can only get maps of the stands with block numbers. I would like to find out exactly where the seat is. Can anyone give me a direct link to a...

Went there last year to see a concert (the stranglers and status quo¬very good). Flights with Ryanair were quite cheap. I don't mind the blades, or their fans, but despite the 'issues' about atmosphere on the turf etc, I don't think we would be booing the side if we got beat away. The away support from us all season has been great.

The club could have avoided this chant, by telling us straight what the situation is with Tresor, instead of pussyfooting around with half stories and allowing the rumours to grow. We pay money to support the team and if one of our players, on big wages, is not playing we should be told why.
