I've not had time to check this out yet, but I'm pretty sure that Ducketts were a company that manufactured clay piping and fittings mainly for main drainage. I seem to recall seeing a kiln/kilns on site where Sutcliffes are currently off Burnham Gate. I'm also fairly sure they made the tall glazed...

I read just now that the company's current troubles have been caused by a cyber attack by hackers and the factories in the UK have been shut for over a week and the employees told not to return until next week. The company has today confirmed that data has been lost

Seems it's not just a Burnley issue. Everton fans were complaining today about ticket issues for tonight's cup game, ko was delayed 15 mins due to large queues outside their stadium..
