Just an example of another side of the game that has been spoiled by the modernisation of football. Pick up your man, anyone spare cover the front post and watch for runners from the edge of the box and actually want to go and head the ball. Basics but they work.

We need another midfielder 100% and the club obviously feel that too, I think we’ll get one whether it’s Luis or not we will see. In terms of CB Worrall is nowhere near the standard, get one in on loan and let him go out and play some football if there’s any takers.

Can’t see Edwards having any effect in the premier league at all, not much pace and certainly not strong enough. Just my opinion but Iv seen enough of him since he joined to think he’s bang average.

I think we need another midfielder and would personally prefer another big strong one over one with pace, ideally you want one who can do both but if they could they wouldn’t be coming to Burnley. If it was a loan possibly but we won’t pay money for anyone now I don’t think so can’t see it.

Got to play 3 in midfield somehow or we will just get run all over. 4-3-3 with the ball 4-5-1 without the ball would be my preference personally. Use our two loan spots for two quality loans as I don’t think the money for permanents is there, one CB and one CM and play something like below. That in ...

Looking at the line up he’s clearly gone for legs and running power (bar Ekdal). Sure I heard in a few interviews with different players that Sonne was top in all the running stats in pre season, same in the midfield and up top with Anthony behind Foster plenty of energy and legs.
