Just an example of another side of the game that has been spoiled by the modernisation of football. Pick up your man, anyone spare cover the front post and watch for runners from the edge of the box and actually want to go and head the ball. Basics but they work.

We need another midfielder 100% and the club obviously feel that too, I think we’ll get one whether it’s Luis or not we will see. In terms of CB Worrall is nowhere near the standard, get one in on loan and let him go out and play some football if there’s any takers.

Can’t see Edwards having any effect in the premier league at all, not much pace and certainly not strong enough. Just my opinion but Iv seen enough of him since he joined to think he’s bang average.

Read an article today he’s just 13 goals off the same amount of premier league goals as Didier Drogba. Considering Drogba is rated as one of the very best he’s not done bad for himself old Chris.

I think we need another midfielder and would personally prefer another big strong one over one with pace, ideally you want one who can do both but if they could they wouldn’t be coming to Burnley. If it was a loan possibly but we won’t pay money for anyone now I don’t think so can’t see it.

Really enjoyed the game actually, we’ve had a go and ultimately been punished. Get an upgrade on Ekdal, Sonne and Laurent before the end of the window and give it a good bash.

I’d personally want the Serbian lad from Millwall over any championship striker. Granted only ever saw snippets of highlights of him but always looked a handful and can shift for a lad over 6ft. Plenty of growth too with him only being 20.

Now the season has finished he’s got the chance to be a man and own up that he’s got it wrong. He can still feel we don’t play the best football etc that’s his opinion but to say we’re one of the worst teams is just factually incorrect. Will he admit he was wrong, probably not.

Being picky I’d have played Laurent and moved Hannibal wide dropping Edward’s but still a team capable of winning. In the big games against Sheff utd we usually fair well so I’m backing another win. UTC
