According to the Burnley Express,there was no truth in our reported interest anyway At the fixtures launch Matt Williams pointed out that a lot of rumours are agent driven to force the clubs hand but he did also point out that we, as a club, have put rumours out there to help along other transfers....

Should be noted that Manchester City played the same game on Weds 16th August 2023 against Sevilla in Greece, then played as normal on Saturday 19th August 2023 at home to Newcastle.

We will take the lower amount. Last time we played them was a pointless game at the end of the season. This time it is the first game of the season, spurs are poor, and schools are off and a lot will want to make a weekend of it. We will easy sell close to 3,000, but the club don’t see it this way....

I think there should also be some balance to this argument and say there are good taxi drivers out there. The ex used to make sure she got the same taxi firm when going home from a night out, bearing in mind she was usually suitably drunk, whatever driver she got would always sit in the car and wait...
