Lancs got him in at Haslingden to qualify with FArokh Engineer taking the one international place that came into being in 1968. I saw him play for Hasilngden at Burnley and he became the first person I ever saw hit a 6 into the football ground and not only that he did it three times in one over off...

Although I said earlier that the FA Cup has somewhat lost its magic in recent years..... what a beautiful trophy it is, wish we could lift it in my lifetime !

I was on that coach. It got stuck in traffic after the game and a group of Millwall started smashing the rear lights & tried to get on - Simmy was driving & opened the door for a load of Clarets to get out and have a go back!
