City looking at signing Gianluigi Donnarumma
Just seen Gianluigi Donnarumma is now being linked with Man City by a few of the big City social media accounts.
Penny for Trafford’s thoughts if they sign the Italian. You’d imagine it would end any hope of him being their no1 in the next year or two.

Our local high school has a real problem with parents desperate for any sort of SEN diagnosis and the rewards that brings. As a parent of an autistic child who finished high school this summer, you’ll have to enlighten me about these “rewards”. We found the last 5 years head-bangingly frustrating.

I think he's right but should direct his anger at the player and at himself/staff/club who shouldn't have allowed this. Heckingbottom on private fitness trainers
Heckingbottom’s gone off on a bit of of rant after one of his players picked up an injury working with a private trainer and appears to have banned PNE players from using them going forward. His anger is directed squarely at the trainer. Seems a bit of a misdirected rant to me unless he’s suggesting...

The jury is out on this one. We’ve tried to replace one of the brightest goalkeeping prospects in Europe with two players who have cost the club a combined fee of less than £10m. Competition at Newcastle is clearly superior to that at Burnley, but Dubravka’s was third choice there and his career is ...

It’s easy to say he’s better than League Two, but a) he’s never started a game at any level in the EFL and b) perhaps nobody above League Two wanted him or were willing to commit to giving him game time.
I’m sure if he does well at Accy the club will try and move him to League One in January.

See your point here. Not sure the decline is as pronounced for keepers as it is for outfield players though. Their bodies haven’t suffered the load in the same way over a career. Let’s hope Dubravaka is up to it. He’ll be 37 during the season. At some point soon, you’d imagine he’ll begin to decline.
Having had such a strong GK department for so long (23/24 aside), having a 36 year old first choice and a very young keeper second choice suddenly brings a bit of uncertainty.

Thought Brady’s comment about Rooney was a disgrace. you can think someone’s a poor manager that’s your opinion but to question someone’s work ethic publicly especially someone who’s achieved what Rooney has in the game is poor. Watched the first episode today. It absolutely buries Rooney.
If he had any managerial credibility left after his Plymouth sacking, it’s likely to be gone now.
Sad in a way that such a good player turns into a figure to be ridiculed.
