He obviously didn’t mean to hit anyone with it and apologised immediately, but he does seem to have a habit of getting in bizarre situations. It’s only a few months since he was filmed have a weird exchange with Plymouth fans and players. I’m struggling to recall a manager ever booting a football in...

George Brown (Wednesday scorer) has a fair old story. Played junior football at the grassroots club I volunteer at and also a local private academy (UFCA). He'll need to coax goals out of Füllkrug and Wilson and sort a defence that has shipped 13 in 5 games.
Having a decent defence and a counter attacking style is what Nuno does best.

I liked Anass and we can blame VK for the fact that he never kicked on after that first season if we like. There’s comments on this (and other) threads that make you realise that people are just waiting for a bad result to pounce on Parker. It’s generally accepted that Parker and the squad have done well so far this season in spite of a tough set of opening fixtures. One poor performance from the reserve...

I’m not convinced there was a lack of effort. It was emphasised with there being a few square pegs in round holes as the game progressed. I’m ...

Think a little bit of luck of the draw with timing/fixtures can make a big difference over the course of a season, e.g. if you get to play an out-of-sorts Wolves or West Ham at a time when confidence is low and prior to a change in form (normally due to a managerial change) then it gets points on t...
