Apart from VK and the coaching staff? They clearly saw enough to want to replace Muric as No.1 fairly early into the transfer window. I wish I knew what that meant.
There was a settee at one corner of the pitch where fans could watch the game as some sort of sponsor's gimmick. The Charlton fans ripped it to shreds during the pitch invasion. Not sure whether the club/owner billed them for it.

Maradona got linked as a manager when Venky's took over, I think. Venky's have really raised the global profile by taking them away from gravy swillers like Allardyce and Dunn and into the international realm with stars like El Diego, Ronaldinho and David Beckham now inextricably linked with the club.

Seems fairly obvious that Derby wouldn't play like that every week, just as we don't play every week like we did for the last half an hour against Coventry. They were up against a team with 5 times their budget, neutralised them effectively and got a deserved point, well done to them.

That summer, Steve Waggott tells local radio that the club's aim for the upcoming 2023/24 was to avoid relegation. You've just finished 7th, everybody...

If the owners are so desperate to avoid promotion, how come they're always in the top 6 at Christmas in the first place? Surely they'd just stop appointing good managers or signing/developing good players and aim for 19th like last season.

We're the only team unbeaten at home all season so it seems a bit odd to dig out our own fans on that basis. As others have said, the teams we struggle against are those who dig in and play for a point- teams are much more likely to do that away from home.
