Has someone left this role that we’re replacing, or was it one of the shared roles that now needs a specific person per Cat 1 requirements? Do you have any views on this appointment? I can’t see the LinkedIn link but if he’s ex City/United he’s presumably got good experience. I’ve always been (very...

Was at Dusseldorf ‘88 when Van Basten scored the hat-trick that knocked England out and to think the Dutch press wanted him dropped before that match. He went on to have a magnificent career. Geoff Hurst was fantastic and should have moved on from West Ham. He did move on from West Ham. He went to ...

Wish him good look. He has been dealt a couple of bad hands at Hudds and Swansea. The Hudds team he inherited was absolutely garbage. I saw them a hand full of times last year and he did well to have them near the play offs. They have had a proper clear out in the summer so hopefully another ex cla...

at least you knew, I watched it and thought it was going to extra time  There were people getting up from their seats in the stand at the final whistle just assuming it was a draw. It's competition rules, after a draw you take part in a penalty shoot-out for an extra point. Our club doesn't seem to know that and think Solihull Moors got three points and us none although it's 2 and 1.

Not much to take from that. Quite impressed with Williams at the back. Bevan looked a threat, but quite rusty after coming on. Given his size and attributes, he looks like he could do a job at Solihull’s level. Might get a loan in Jan? Bevan went to Carlisle last season on loan. First time he’s pla...

What do the rules say about where a player can’t stand from a PK? Presumably they at least need to be behind the ball? Appreciate there’s no major advantage if you can’t touch the ball from a saved PK, but could a player go and stand next to the penalty spot without the ref blowing? All players (ot...
