GP had a fab pub next to it……….old world type of place…….
It once had a pub on all four corners of the ground but at least one of them had closed down when they moved to the new place. I think it was my first visit in 1980/81 when we visited all four.

Yeah always enjoyed going to Griffin park. The new ground is really soulless, walking round all the apartment blocks to get to the away end. Griffin Park was a dump but a dump with character. I wouldn’t know where to start describing the new ground but it’s not good and it really is strange, unable...

FWIW I find Daz pretty measured and able to take off the Claret tinted specs. Seems logical to be concerned whether we can score enough goals to stay up. One of the worst seasons we had for scoring goals was the season we got to Europe and one of the best was the Kompany season. Our hopes in this l...

Would be interesting to compare with this stage 2 years ago. From gut feel I think we are considerably better placed. It will only really start to be indicative when we've played a few more of our "winnable" games. By the time we've played West Ham on 8th Nov if the scores are in the same ball park...

Only from the telly but the booking Walker for Foden standing on his foot, while stretching and injuring him is as bad a decision you will see.
I’ve seen the Walker card again and it is Foden standing on him. And then I watched the fiasco again when he waved him back onto the pitch.

Debate on if red for Pope

VAR asked ref to review as think Pope made contact with ball and decision is no foul no pen
All I could think of was the penalty given against Pope by Rob Jones at Leeds when he’d played the ball. Penalty confirmed that day.
