Where does he fit in this team? You can see why Parker likes him, he’s full of energy and his pressing really does help us get on the ball and break up play. But then on the flip side he’s really poor on the ball. I lost count of how many times he chose the wrong pass today and lost duels. Is this r...

Another good game from Lyle today. Looked a proper PL number 9. Very nearly on 3 goals in 3 games right now too, without mentioning the overall outlet he’s been providing up there. There’s a really good player in there. I think he’s player that thrives in counter attacking teams/ running into space...

They’re incredible stats when presented like that. As a club, I don’t think we’re big enough to maybe command the really massive fees, and obviously they have to attract a Newcastle/United/Liverpool interested to get those fees. Have said for a while that this is exactly the model I think they’re looking to deploy. Why have a squad of 25 players, half hardly playing, leaving about 11-15 that are growing in value, when you can have a squad of maybe 35-40, send 10-15 out on loan and hopefully have nearly double the amount of...

I imagine it will be a flat midfield 3. With the two wide players taking more attacking positions. This would probably allow the likes of Larsen to be much more advancedollieclarets8 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 28, 2025 8:04 pmCould possibly allow Les to move further forward? He’s clearly got dribbling ability and is rapid. With our counter attacking style I can certainly see why Banel and Tchouna have been brought in. They suit this style down to a tee.
