At the end of the day the officials seen the touch by the defender and had one chance to look at it with it being late in the game has to be a factor as well even subconsciously the decision has to be right. It’s a decision that could have gone either way and I think VAR wouldn’t turn that decision around neither as he touched the ball so the decision in my opinion is a good call based on the time in the game and the fact he seen the defender take the ball he couldn’t be 100% sure
