Re: Networking via this board
A few months ago I posted that me and a business partner had opened a bar in Todmorden (The Beer Necessities) and on that thread Ian (aka PenfoldClaret) reached out to introduce himself as the owner of Roosters brewery in Harrogate. Over the last few months, thanks in a large part to Ian's approach...

Anyone know whether a season ticket can be bought with AMEX please ? I would assume no. I’ve always had to use my Mastercard instead of AMEX when buying stuff at TM or in the club shop. I’d assume it’s the same for your season ticket, but if it’s handled by a third party, I might be wrong. Depends ...

People have been doing that for donkeys years.

I'm a driver for Chiltern Railways at Banbury these days. Ardley Tunnel (which is between Kings Sutton (basically Banbury) and Bicester North) was flooded today (with water almost covering the tops of the rail head). All my trains ran, but were diverted to Oxford via Heyford and Tackley (which is th...

Can you go to a sports direct and try on a castore shirt from a different club? Or is the sizing not consistent? We actually have a Castore store in MK at the shopping centre, but all he'd have to try is an MK shirt... Annoyingly, Castore still haven't updated their website with our stuff, so you c...

Hey Mel, long time no speak. If it's easier (and cheaper), I'm headed there at the end of October for the QPR game. I know it's a fair while away, but I'd be happy to grab a shirt for you and bring it back. To that end, if you order one online and it doesn't quite fit you, I could either try it, buy...

Absolutely nothing planned for the 11th May mate. There’s a non-contractual overtime ban across operators on the 11th but that’ll only mean some short term cancellations on National Rail services. You’ll be absolutely fine.

I have the Apple Watch SE, which is the entry level if you like, but it's absolutely superb. If I can recommend getting one from anywhere, John Lewis always throw in a 2 year warranty on Apple tech, which I've used once for some AirPods behaving a bit strangely, and the service is great.

Not sure on the F1 bus, but there are a few other buses stopping just outside Reading that go to the stadium (or very near) on match and non-match days. Those buses accept card and I'd assume the F1 does now.
The 6 Emerald bus on Station Road (Stop SC) will stop there. Every 12 mins.
