Really interesting documentary. It highlights the need for player protection and better education. Footballers, like many walks of life, can be incredibly naive.

Would go as far as saying it’s been ALK’s best window.

I’d give it a strong 8.5, strong shout outs for Walker and Les and also Luis is probably going to be our best signing in a generation if he fulfils his potential.
And Loum Tchaouna ‘could’ become a huge hit for us too!

Re: Salisbury removed from VAR today

VAR needs reviewing. It needs the referee to have access to the monitor, where there is no on-field communication until the referee chooses to go to the monitor. Then, the referee can communicate with the VAR official, asking him/her to provide certain angles, but not to offer any professional opini...

Going off Rate the Ref, Salisbury is a very competent referee. That said, it doesn’t guarantee that he’s good on VAR. the whole system is a complete and utter biased mess.

I have no issues with the penalty. It’s a clear shirt pull that continues into the box. The referee can give the penalty in that instance. I want to see Foster’s disallowed goal though.

Huge European Law changes (potentially) on the horizon, where player autonomy is concerned. It’ll be huge: up there with the Bosman ruling, admittedly a good few years away. Re: Isak, if I were him, I’d be sacking my agent. Badly informed and his career could potentially suffer now.
