Last summer, for whatever reason(s), the powers that be decided Muric was not going to be No.1 between the sticks this season. We're on South Staffs Water. 4 bed detached house, just the two of us here these days. 3 yrs ago it was £66 per month x 10 month cycle = £660 pa. If I make it to the end of next month, I'l be 70. I went to my first game in 1962 aged 8. I've seen everything BFC from fantastic to utter sh*te. In 3 months it'll be 50 yrs since the semi-final defeat at Hillsborough. I was there. Honestly don't think I've ever got over it in that it still hurts. P...

Northampton Town (a) 1986 - assistance needed please
We played the Cobblers away twice in 1986, in January (85/86 season) and again in the autumn (86/87 season).
I went to both which we lost, with a friend. One of these was a midweek evening game but I can't find out which one.
Need to know to settle a (very friendly) argument !
Thanks in advance.

Exactly like my first experience on a Birmingham bus where I went to uni 1972. It was a driver-only bus, no conductor and the driver wouldn't give change, which was new to me. When I asked how I was going to pay, he shrugged, pointed his thumb at the lower deck and simply said, "Ask." 5 mins later, ...

That was the year we beat Spurs 7-2 at home.
It was rearranged to a Tuesday evening and I think it ended up being our last home game of the season. We were 7-0 up until Jones & Jimmy G got two back for Spurs.
I know cos I was there.

I was in Aberdovey a few weeks ago and in a bog-standard pub I was charged £8.90 for a glass of pinot grigio for Mrs A and £6.10 for a pint of frankly awful bitter = £15. Needless to say, we (a) didn't have a second round and (b) didn't revisit the place.

No, not me.
But on 20th April 1994 when we beat Wimbledon 2-0 on the Turf, my then 16 yr old daughter (and my two sons) was with me.
Little did we know that the bloke she was destined to marry 17 yrs later was in the cricket field end supporting his team.

This is so tiresome.
If it upsets you so much- don't buy a shirt (I've never bought one, ever.)
If that's not enough, don't go on the Turf.
Your choice, as it should always be.
