Its a 2022 1.5 petrol and can barely muster 38mpg. The auto box is awful... just lots of little things that annoy me about it. I have a 2017 diesel A4 avant which I much prefer.ClaretCliff wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 9:12 amI’ve been looking at these. What are the problems with it, Sutton?

To me personally there's a kind of wider issue in play here which I have a particular bug bear about. Imo, anyone can do what they want within the law whether it's my cup of tea or not, but when what they're doing impinges on me and affects me in any way, then it becomes wrong. People who play thei...

Re: Vaping row H Upper North Stand Section 8
The same happened with cigarettes. I suspect that more are on vapes these days because they’re far easier to enjoy than a cigarette ever was. No one ever had a first drag of a cigarette and thought ‘ooh that was nice, I’m going to get myself a twenty pack’. If you wanted to ‘fit in’ and be a ‘cool ...

Re: Vaping row H Upper North Stand Section 8
I think most health professionals have pretty much concluded that vaping is the safer of the 2 but you do have a valid point with nicotine as it's a stimulant & spikes adrenaline I stopped as it was making my heart race. Vaping is now used as more of a safer substitute rather than a smoking cessati...

Re: Vaping row H Upper North Stand Section 8
As far as I can remember wasn't vaping introduced as a deterrent to smoking...... From the evidence I've seen vaping is much more dangerous than smoking ever was. For starters a cigarette is thrown away after its been smoked in 10 - 20 mins whereas vapes are a never ending input of nicotene.

I’d avoid a fat-bike like the one in the link - will be too heavy for the type of riding you describe. Calibre bikes are well thought of at that price point though. A gravel bike or rigid mtb will be your best bet. Agree with this - took a mate round Dalby forest who had just bought one. He was blo...
